Master Joseph Jennings
Sensei Tim Fox began his training at a very young age in 1976. In 1979 - at age of 12 - he became the first Black Belt that Master Joseph Jennings had ever promoted under the age of 16.
Sensei Fox was also fierce competitor. Some of the larger tournaments he competed in included the Grand Championship at the Flower City Open Tournament in 1991 and the Okinawan Karate and Kobodo World Tournament in 1997.
In 2011 Sensei Fox was promoted to his current rank of 8th Dan.
Sensei Mike Markham began training under Master Joseph Jennings in 1980 at the age of 10. He began training full time under Sensei Curt Sawyer in 1983 when Sensei Sawyer bought the dojo from Master Jennings.
Sensei Markham was promoted to 1st degree black belt in 1986. He competed in numerous tournaments all over the country and traveled to Okinawa, Japan in 1992 to train with Master Angi Uezu.
Also a SUNY Brockport Graduate, he has work with Sensei Curt Sawyer for many years. Sensei Markham was promoted to 6th Dan in 2004 and is currently Head Instructor at Samurai Martial Arts.
Sensei Jacqueline Dorsey is a 30+ year veteran of Isshin Ryu karate and a multiple National AAU Karate champion. She is an experienced instructor, helping teach and manage over 400 students at Martial Arts America in Rochester, NY. Sensei Dorsey has been featured in Panther Productions “Isshin Ryu Karate Show” video with Master Joe Jennings and Grandmaster Angi Uezu.
She is also a certified Nurse Practitioner and college professor at Monroe Community College.
